#Video – Tinder earns silver at the most searched online dating services

Just five years needed the app Tinder to conquer, and secure its place among the biggest players in the dating industry.
The matchmaking platform currently has around 50 million estimated users registered worldwide, so, at some point, you probably have been one of those, or perhaps know someone, who spent hours swiping right, and left to find other singles nearby to whom having a date with.
However, according to Google, it seems that Tinder does not hit the first spot at the list of the most searched online dating services.
We did a research focusing on Tinder’s role in the dating market, and found some interesting results-
In search engines, the first option people who want to find love or a date look for is the Canadian dating site, Plenty of Fish.
The third position goes to the serious dating platform, Match.com.
Casual dating beats serious dating
The findings, however, show another important aspect. It seems that online dating platforms like Tinder, which is aimed to a more casual audience, are more searched in engines than the ones for serious daters.
